Once you log in, you’ll see if you qualify for the 100% purchased mile bonus. I’ve included a screenshot below of what the “number of miles” should look like if you are able to purchase miles at a 100% bonus. Notice that the “number of miles” shows 50,000 + 50,000 Bonus, this indicates that I’ll receive 100% bonus on purchased miles.

Bottom Line

If you are looking to purchase a business class or coach ticket in the near future, make sure you check out the pricing on buying or sharing miles because an award ticket could be a cheaper option. Don’t forget to check award availability before making the purchase.

Comments

  1. I received an offer yesterday for 6,000 pqms with the purchase of 50,000 miles. If I thought those offers were stackable it would certainly sweeten the deal…

  2. Is it true the shared miles don’t post immediately, therefore two transfers (A to B to A) will take up to six days?

  3. Hi! When I followed the “purchase miles” link, there was nothing said about 100% bonus. So I guess it is targeted? But thank you all the same XD

  4. Hi Shayna – Not sure but that would be sweet.

Hi Explore – Not true. They posted right away in my experience. In my experience, I was able to purchase miles, share them, and then share them again 🙂

Olala – I’ve updated the post to illustrate what you should see after logging into your account.
