Three is a new flight from New York to Paris for SkyTeam fans. Delta has announced new daily service between Newark Liberty International Airport and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. The new flight service begins on June 1st, 2013 eastbound and June 2nd, 2013 westbound.

The New Flight Service

The new daily service between Newark Liberty International Airport and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport will add to the already large bank of daily flights leaving New York’s JFK airport for Paris’s Charles de Gaulle airport.

This will complement Delta and Air France’s existing flights from JFK Airport. Between the two airlines, they’ll fly between New York and Paris 7x daily next summer. Begins June 1st eastbound, June 2nd westbound

The Schedule will be as follows:

Flight 610 | Departs EWR at 6:50 p.m. | Arrives CDG at 8:35 a.m.
Flight 609 | Departs CDG at 1:30 p.m. | Arrives EWR at 3:50 p.m.

Lie-Flat Business Class Award Availability

The good news is this flight is operated by a 767-300 with the new lie-flat Business class seats and has plenty of low level availability in Business Class.

The new seats are in a 1-2-1 configuration. You can tell the new lie-flat seats are on this route by the seat map.

Bottom Line

Delta’s roll out of truly lie-flat Business Class continues with the addition of EWR to CDG next summer. If you are in the market for a lie-flat seat to Europe next summer, the addition of this route just made it a little easier.

Is anyone booked on this flight or another route next year in a Business Class award at low level availability?

  1. ATL-DUS-CDG-DUS-ATL in business class on Delta (and AF for the inter-Europe legs) for 100,000 miles—at the end of June no less. I’m glad I got it for the low mileage but I was looking forward to trying out the lie-flat seats. When I booked it a month ago the seat map showed the 1-2-1 config. Now it’s showing the old 2-2-2. I think they may have stolen the equipment for this new EWR-CDG route!

  2. Thanks for the heads up on this, perfect timing. Had to search for an hour leg by leg but just booked MSP-EWR-CDG-VIE and reverse @ 100k in Biz for June. My alternative was the A330,yuk! This just made my day.
