Last week I noted that the large 100,000 bonus offer campaigns by American Express weren’t coming to a close on January 28th, 2013. I was right. I just received two more targeted 100,000 bonus point offers for the Business Platinum Credit Card from American Express that are good until March 16, 2013.

The terms of these two Business Platinum Card offers are the exact same as the 100,000 offer I received the other day.

Previous 100,000 Offers

  1. Starting back in the spring of 2012, Mrs Weekly Flyer received her first targeted offer for 100,000 points with the personal Platinum Card. Her offer was a targeted offer providing 100,000 bonus points, but is no longer available.
  2. Then in Autumn I was able to apply for the public 75,000 bonus point offer for the Business Gold from American Express. By applying for this card, I left points on the table, 25,000 to be exact because I received and continue to receive targeted Business Platinum 100,000 offers from American Express.
  3. Fast forward to early December of last year, I received my first offers for the 100,000 bonus points with the Business Platinum Card.
  4. Then, only weeks later in the middle of December, I received no fewer than THREE additional offers for 100,000 bonus points for the Business Platinum Card from American Express.
  5. And just a few weeks ago, I shared my experience applying for the 100,000 bonus point offer for the personal Platinum Card.
  6. Last week I received the first in what is the newest round of targeted 100,000 bonus points offers for the Business Platinum Card.

Bottom Line

American Express continues a campaign offering 100,000 bonus points for the American Express Platinum Credit Card. Customers targeted for this offer will receive 100,000 Membership Rewards points after spending $10,000 on the card before June 14th, 2013.

Comments

  1. Are you aware of any way to increase the odds of being targeted? I have the SPG personal card and do approx. 70K spend/yr between personal credit and card spend on a legitimate business. Has anyone been approved for one of these by calling to ask?

  2. Is there an annual fee that comes with the 100,000 offer? The gold card offer (75,000) waived the fee for the first year.
