Chase has signup bonus offers for two of the most popular business cards, the Ink Plus® Business Card and the Ink Bold® Business Card.

The biggest difference is the Ink Bold is a charge card meaning it has to be paid off in full at the end of each month.

Earn Chase Points To Redeem With Travel Partners

Both of these cards are fantastic for earning Chase Ultimate Rewards points which can be transferred to travel partners

  • Amtrak Guest Rewards
  • Korean Air SkyPass (Delta “Partner” Airline)
  • Priority Club
  • British Airways (American Airline Partner Airline)
  • Marriott Rewards
  • Ritz Carlton

  • United Mileage Plus
  • Southwest Rapid Rewards

You can then redeem these points for airline tickets like Korean Airlines Business Class, British Airways First Class (although it is better to redeem British Airways for short distance flights), or for hotel stays in some great Park Hyatt’s like Park Hyatt Tokyo, Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, Park Hyatt Sydney, Park Hyatt Paris, Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, Park Hyatt D.C. and Park Hyatt Chicago.

Earn Points Faster

The earning cards on the Chase Ink and Bold cards is fantastic. The card earns the following bonuses on respective categories:

  • Earn 5x points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent at office supplies stores, celluar/landline/internet/cable services
  • Earn 2x points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent at gas stations and hotels when purchased from the hotel
  • Earn 1x points on all other purchases

Linking Chase Ultimate Awards Accounts

Transferring points among Chase Ultimate Rewards accounts is easy. I have both personal and business cards for my businesses and am able to combine the points. It is as simple as linking the accounts online or just calling Chase and asking them to link the accounts.

Signup Bonus Means More Travel

The extra points could upgrade a 4 night stay at a Hyatt to a suite for only 6,000 points transferred into Hyatt. Or one could fly round trip from New York to Montreal for the weekend by transferring 9,000 points to British Airways and redeeming them for travel on American Airlines.

  1. Your post mentions that the Ink Plus is a charge card. I’m sure that is a typo. Also, which card is easier to get approved for?
