A little is OK, but one really needs plain water. (Sorry, the ice does not count…) My general thing is <3 hours, skip it. Three to 14+ hours, go for the good stuff, but measure At Least one pint (500ml) water for every ounce of alcohol. Those long flights are a great ti sample a few things, it is usually safe, but only when one continues to pour in huge volumes of water. (You probably won't void as much as expected; your body is using it. Pack it in anyway and you will feel a lot better when you arrive. At least when flying at high altitude, it is almost impossible to overdose on water.

7. I just asked the FA on two flights yesterday. On one flight they had no idea and were shocked that these were in the mailings sent out to medallion members since the beginning of the year.

   The second flight one FA happened to have a recipe card with him but I was the first to ask for it. Since I don’t drink at all and have no alcohol of choice I thought it would be an interesting experiment over the next 2 weeks of flights to try the 4. On Friday I will try the Gold Status Symbol. Yesterday was the Silver Horizon and it tasted pretty good.
