Delta First Class Fare Sale, Upgrade from $49

Delta is currently running a First Class fare sale where you can upgrade to first class for as low as $49 each-way. Tickets must be booked by November 3, 2014 for travel between November 22, 2014 and February 17, 2015 on select flights within the contiguous U.S., and between the contiguous U.S. and the Caribbean, Canada, Mexico and Central America.

Screen Shot 2014-10-22 at 10.29.06 PMWith Delta First Class you receive Priority Boarding, more spacious seating, enhanced menu selections, complimentary cocktails and the Delta Studio suite of complimentary entertainment options.

In addition to purchasing First at the time of booking, Delta customers should have the option of logging into their account and upgrading their existing itinerary.

Screen Shot 2014-10-22 at 10.48.04 PMI was able to pull up an upcoming booking to Atlanta and was offered to upgrade the whole itinerary for $278 or $139 each-way, which isn’t such a bad price when you factor in the free checked bags.

  1. SEA to AUA in November, upgrade offered at $1132,
    SEA to MSY in January, upgrade offered at $704.

    Wasn’t extremely impressed by the price.

  2. So that’s what the screenshot looks like? I have a trip to MSY in Dec with no upgrade offer in my reservation. I even received that email. (Not booked in E class…)

  3. I have 7 trips booked. No upgrades to first offered on any. But, there are links on almost all of them offerring me to upgrade to economy comfort—i’m Diamond, and have EC selected on all of the itineraries, and despite that it’s still offerring it. Typical delta horsepuckey
