IHG is e-mailing and tweeting about its limited time offer that expires at noon Eastern on Friday October 31, 2014 offering a 50 percent off of points redemption stays at The Venetian® and the Palazzo®, an InterContinental Alliance® Resort.  The rooms are listed for 25,000 points and you can also combine cash an points for this offer – 20,000 points and $40 per night OR 15,000 points and $70 per night. It’s valid on stays from November 16, 2014 – April 10, 2015. The e-mail goes on to say:

Black out dates apply, and include New Year’s Eve, but interestingly not on Valentine’s Day which is Saturday February 14, 2015.  Room rate at The Venetian were listed for $309 that night, while the room rate The Palazzo was $399 that night, making the 25,000 point redemption even more attractive.
