IHG PointBreaks Hotels For 5,000 Points A Night Goes Live Monday

IHG Rewards Club recently posted their PointBreaks preview, which allows you to book nights at selected properties for just 5,000 points a night.  The booking window will open up on Monday November 24th 2014 – usually mid-morning in the Eastern time zone – and is good for stays from November 24, 2104 to February 29, 2015.

The preview includes hotels across the seven of the IHG brands: InterContinental Hotels, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Even Hotels, Crowne Plaza, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites.  According to the PointBreaks programs terms-and-conditions members can only book two PointBreaks Reward Nights reservations per hotel during the special offer time period.  Here is the list from the IHG website:

Bottom Line

The mildly annoying thing about the preview list, which features over 160 hotels, is that it’s only broken down into three rough geographic regions: Asia, the Americas, and Europe.  I’m looking froward to Monday when they are sorted into their usual tabbed browsing format.Screen Shot 2014-11-22 at 11.23.17 AM
