About Membership Rewards Points Redemption
You can redeem points as soon as you have enough for the reward you want. You can start redeeming for shopping and entertainment with just 1,000 points. Travel Certificates start at 3,000 points, and car rental rewards start at 5,000 points. Once you’ve accumulated 1,000 points, you can start transferring them into participating frequent flyer or frequent guest programs.
Being an American Express cardholder has a lot of benefits. I like this card because of the 3x points at supermarkets and the 2x points at gas stations. It is great to earn bonus points on everyday purchases. After only 30 purchases, you’ll get the 50% more points per cycle which will help you rack up the points faster. Also, this card has less of an annual fee then many other cards at only $95. You can use Membership Rewards points for so many different things and the 15,000 bonus points will get you well on your way to redeeming for rewards! Consider applying for the Amex EveryDay® Preferred Credit Card from American Express. Expired
