It’s time for My Starbucks Rewards members to check their e-mails for the April version of one of the easiest targeted promotions that Starbucks offers – the Star Dash.  The version I received was to make eight purchases to earn 10 bonus stars OR make ten purchases to earn 15 bonus stars. In order to earn the bonus stars, you must be targeted, enroll in the offer and then make eight or ten purchases with your registered Starbucks card (or app) between April 14 and April 27.

If you complete the challenge, Starbucks will automatically deposit the bonus stars in your account by May 6, 2015.

Starbucks also threw in a bonus offer for 25% off any lunch item purchased with your registered Starbucks card from April 14-April 20. For those targeted, they included a 4 digit code for one-time use.

Bottom Line:
While I received a better Star Dash – earning 20 stars – that started on March 10 , this is still a pretty easy way to earn bonus stars. Did anyone receive a different – or better – offer?

  1. I got a similar star dash (same dates) but mine is 3 purchases for 10 bonus stars or 5 purchases for 15 bonus stars. Crazy how Starbucks does promos sometimes! I’m thankful though since I had been a gold card member for many years but lost status while I was pregnant because I laid off caffeine and just drinking decaf espresso wasn’t the same.

  2. I got my 9 stars before the cut off date but I haven’t seen them deposited yet. I was so hoping to get the extra 15 stars.

  3. what does (targeted) mean? I know I made that # of purchases during that time frame but I didn’t get any bonus stars, or see anything about it.
