If you are planning on heading out to Plate of Metro DC (encompassing restaurants in the DC, Virginia and Maryland areas) to check out some of the restaurants participating; make sure to add this offer for $5 back each time you dine and spend $25 with your enrolled American Express card. You can enroll here by 12am ET on July 27, 2015.  Then, each time you use the same enrolled Card to spend a total of at least $25 at a participating restaurant during the Plate of Metro DC campaign, July 6 to July 27, 2015, you will receive a $5 statement credit. Offer valid only for in-restaurant purchases. Not valid for online purchases. To redeem this offer, you must first enroll any eligible American Express Card at amexnetwork.com/PlateOfMetroDC between 12am ET on June 21, 2015 and 12am ET on July 27, 2015. Then, each time you use the same enrolled Card to spend a total of at least $25 at a participating restaurant during the Plate of Metro DC campaign, July 6 to July 27, 2015, you will receive a $5 statement credit. If you order an item during the offer period but it is not provided to you until after 7/27/2015, it will not count towards determining whether your purchase qualifies for the offer. You may enroll more than one Card for this offer, but only those Cards you enroll individually will be eligible for the offer. An “eligible American Express Card†is a valid American Express Card issued in the U.S. Corporate cards and all prepaid card products (other than American Express Serve) are not eligible. If you have problems with your enrollment or your Card is replaced during the promotional period, call the customer service number on the back of your Card for assistance. Enrollment is limited. Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after the offer end date, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. In addition, in most cases, you will not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. Bottom Line

Amex offers are so great for saving money. This is just another example of why it’s great to be an American Express card holder. $5 isn’t a lot but, it will add up if you plan on dining out at these participating restaurants several times during the Plate of Metro DC campaign, July 6 to July 27, 2015.
