Yesterday I was traveling to Utah and on my way out, I wanted to visit my favorite lounge at Hartsfield Jackson, the Club At ATL (see my review here.) I usually use the Priority Pass I get from The Platinum Card® from American Express to enter for free when I go to this lounge. I love this lounge because they have premium beverages for free in addition to a great spread of snacks and food.

Upon entering the lounge, the attendant asked me if I perhaps had a Diners Club card; which I do. She said that if I used it to enter the Club At ATL, that I would get a free battery charger, similar to this one. How sweet is that?

Of course you can get similar food in the Skyclub, but why I choose the Club At ATL is this:

Complementary Beverages

Bottom Line

So, if you are traveling though a Club Lounge soon (by the end of the month or while supplies last) use your Diners Club Card (if you have one) to enter to receive a free battery charger in addition to your complementary drinks! If you don’t have the Diner Club card but, instead use your Priority Pass from the Platinum Card® from American Express or another card, you will still have a great visit to the lounge. Enjoy!

  1. Unless I am mistaken — which I certainly could be — isn’t Priority Club the old name of IHG’s rewards program and what you are writing about is PRIORITY PASS — the series of independent and not independent airline clubs whereby you can gain entry from holding an AMEX, Citi Prestige and other affinity credit cards???

I know there are differing levels of PRIRORITY PASS, with not all levels conferred depending on the credit card, but I have not heard of Priority Club series of airline lounges.

  2. The bonus power bank is given upon presenting a Diners Club card, NOT a Priority Pass card.

And to be clear, Diners Club has its own lounge program, many (but not all) of which are also accessible with Priority Pass cards. In the case of “The Club” lounges, they are accessible with either card.

Horace is correct. Priority Club is the former IHG hotel program. Priority Pass is the airline lounge program.
