Earlier this week, we told you about an easy way to earn up to 6,000 United miles through their shopping portal this holiday season. It seems that AAdvantage is offering a similar promotion as well. Here is how you can earn up to 5,000 bonus miles when you shop through the AAdvantage eShopping portal. These deals are great because you can shop with any merchant through the portal and earn bonus points on purchases that you like would be making anyway!
Easy Way To Earn Up To 5,000 AAdvantage Bonus MilesÂ

Bottom Line

I do a ton of shopping through portals. I say these two offers are about even as United tends to trend lower per $1 on the spending at most merchants in my experience so even though it’s 6k versus 5k I’d say they are about even. There is a sweet spot between $350 and $550 where I think the United offer is slightly better.
