Delta has launched an offer where SkyMiles members can earn 1,000 bonus SkyMiles (and unlike many of their other offers, this does not appear to be targeted). You’ll earn the bonus miles if you use a service from one of their partners including SkyMiles Shopping.

To earn a one-time bonus of 1,000 miles, you will need to:

Register for this offer with your SkyMiles number.

– Get miles by using the services of two or more participating non-airline partners by February 29, 2016.

Participating non-airline partners include:

– Delta SkyMiles Credit Cards from American Express in the U.S.
– Delta Credit Cards in select countries
– Financial Partners
– Hotels
– Car Rental, Limo & Shuttle
– Cruises & Vacations
– SkyMiles Dining
– SkyMiles Shopping
– Retail & Specialty Partners

Terms and Conditions:

Offer: A one-time bonus of 1,000 miles per member will be credited once registered members get miles with two or more distinct participating partners between the offer registration date and before February 29, 2016.

Participating Partners: The following non-airline partners are participating in this offer: Credit Card Partners, Hotels, Car Rental, Limo & Shuttle, Cruises and Vacations, Dining, Retail and Specialty, Financial Partners and Home Entertainment & Wireless. Eligibility of Transactions: Only accrual partner transactions with an activity date between the offer registration date and before February 29, 2016 will be considered for eligibility of the bonus. Activity date is defined as the date of the transaction as reported by the partner regardless of the date the transaction is posted in the member’s account.


Bottom Line

The easiest way to earn this is to register then head over to SkyMiles Shopping where you can buy a song on iTunes for $1 and you’ll get the miles. Of course if you have plans to use their other partners, then you could also earn the bonus miles another way.
