Starwood has launched choice benefits for those SPG Platinum members who stay 50 nights a year, but for 2016, they’ve really upped their game in my opinion with some cool new options.

Stay 50 eligible nights with SPG in 2016 and you’ll earn a benefit of your choice from the following options:

• 10 Suite Night Awards
• Gift Gold status to a friend or family member
• 1 Free Night Award
• Five Elite-Qualifying Nights
• Up to 5 rental days with Silvercar
• SPG donation to UNICEF
• 40% off your favorite hotel bed

We wrote about this last year, which 2015 choices which were lackluster, but for 2016, I have to say they are anything but that.

If you’re wondering what you should choose, I would say it depends on what you value most, but I think the five elite-qulaifying nights is a great option, as well as the 5 free rental days with Silvercar. Of course, if you do like the confirmed suite upgrades, then you may want to consider the 10 suite night awards.
