As a reminder, for those American AAdvantage members, looking to lock in current award pricing, today is your last day, before the new award charts go live tomorrow. You can see the full new award charts on American’s site here, as well as the current chart as well.

The biggest change is that Business/First will no longer offer off-peak prices, so if you have any awards to book for the next year, book now at the off-peak prices to lock in this redemption. Also, take a look at the charts below for your own comparison on what’s changing, an what you may want to book now.

  1. One consolation about these changes is that at least AA still has an award chart, unlike Sky Miles. That being said, I’m still concerned that other frequent flyer programs will copy Delta’s idea in the future.
