Etihad is a new partner of American Express, so this is the first time they are offering a transfer bonus, but I sure hope it won’t be the last.

Membership Rewards normally transfer to Etihad Guest Miles  at 1,000 Amex points to 1,000 Etihad Guest Miles, but with this promotion you’ll receive 1,300 Etihad Guest Miles per each 1,000 Membership Rewards points.

If you are looking for an award where Etihad Guest miles can be a good use, then consider this 30% transfer bonus from American Express to get more miles from your American Express Membership Rewards points.

If you’re looking for American Express cards to earn Membership Rewards points consider the following:

  1. I guess redeem Etihad miles on AA Business and First domestic at the same rate as AA’s old award rates

  2. Pretty cool! For those who want to experience the EY Residence, it’s now possible if you have 900k Membership rewards points!

  3. @Dave, From what I recall, EtihadGuest redemptions are distance-based, similar to BA Avios. The sweet spots tend to be EY business class travel within the Middle East.
