Comments

  1. Can you also cover the duration after which the benefits kick in for delayed trips or delayed baggage. Perhaps compare with Prestige or AMEX Plat

  2. Some of the travel protections are available with the Chase Sapphire Preferred as well. I’m using the travel delay protection today in fact. Our flight cancelled and we were rebooked on one leaving 15 hours later requiring a hotel and meals.

  3. CSR travel protection isn’t as good as Citi’s. Citi will cover you for expenses you incur if you need to fly home immediately as well as prepaid stuff that you’ll miss. Chase just covers the latter. (Though chase, unlike Citi, does reimburse you for awards you missed taking for a covered reason-$.01 per point used.

This was not a very thorough blog post. Really just an ad it seemed. (I can’t believe Chase has spent $0 in marketing the CSR and it’s sold out of boxes and the metal it used to make the cards. Then again, with all the bloggers trying to get the referral credit, I shouldn’t be.)
