The TSA announced that five new airlines would be participating in the TSA Pre-Check program which brings the total airlines to 47. The newest additions include Air France, Brussels Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Philippine Airlines and World Atlantic.
Per the TSA,
The Transportation Security Administration today announced the expansion of its TSA Pre✓ expedited screening program to five additional domestic and international carriers. The five new partnering airlines are Air France, Brussels Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Philippine Airlines and World Atlantic. Today’s announcement brings the number of airlines participating in TSA Pre✓ to 47 domestic and international carriers.
These new partnerships will significantly increase the trusted traveler population as TSA continues its efforts to raise the baseline for aviation security. TSA is committed to increasing the number of airlines participating in TSA Pre✓ and helping more eligible travelers across the country to experience expedited screening.
There are several credit cards that will reimburse the fee to sign-up for Pre-Check or Global Entry (which gets you Pre-check)including the The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum® Card from American Express OPEN.
Another option to speed through security is CLEAR. You can enroll for CLEAR then just stop by an airport kiosk the next time you are at a CLEAR airport location.
It’s great to see even more airlines being added to the TSA Pre-check program, however this means more eligible travelers so hopefully this doesn’t mean longer lines at TSA checkpoints for those with Pre-check.

When will CLEAR add Ontario International Airport, CA to their list of airports?
While the TSA and FAA permit dry ice up to certain quantities in both carry-on and checked luggage, I personally would not go that route as the airlines don’t seem to have consistent policies in place on dry ice. When flying with breast milk, allow extra time for additional security and to deal with any potential issues if the TSA or airline staff on duty that day isn’t familiar with the rule that allows moms to fly with breastmilk as a carry-on. Have the link to the TSA rule on flying with breastmilk handy, and no matter what you do, don’t feel like you have to let that milk go to waste.
