I started using Google Express back when I posted a deal that got you free shipping from them for 6 months. Since then, they dropped the annual fee membership that got you free shipping in favor of a minimum order for each store to get free shipping without membership. I stopped using Google Express once they adopted the Instacart model and raised the prices from in-store pricing. If you’re just getting an item or two the higher price can still be worth it. Additionally, as with any of these shopping services the workers aren’t incentivized to find items with the best “use by date”. I’ve had bread that clearly was not the freshest from the shelf (but yes, still within the sell date) and incorrect DVDs delivered to me with GE.
Prices on Costco items are higher than in store, so it is less of a value.
