The Park Hyatt New York is located in midtown Manhattan near Central Park on 57th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue. The Park Hyatt New York has 210 guest rooms including 92 suites and is a World of Hyatt Category 7 property, meaning free night awards start at 30,000 points per night, whereas Points + Cash is offered at 15,000 points and $300 per night.

I had one last night to use from the Hyatt Credit Card sign-up bonus, when they were offering two free nights at any Hyatt, so wanted to maximize by staying here, as rates were nearly $1,000 for the night. I booked a standard room, and that’s what I was given upon check-in, however it did have a partial view of Central Park.

Located on the 25th floor, is the hotel’s pool and gym, which is complimentary for guest use. The pool is a lap pool, along with a hot tub, and a steam room. Above the pool, is the fitness center.

Overall I was very pleased with the Park Hyatt New York, with the understated design, which is typical at Park Hyatt properties. What really set this stay apart was the phenomenal service from all the staff from the doorman, front desk agents, and housekeeping.
