Delta announced Delta One Business Class Expanding to More US Domestic Routes, with New York (JFK) to Seattle (SEA) and New York (JFK) to San Diego starting on April 1, 2018. Then, New York (JFK) to Las Vegas will also become a premium Delta One business class route starting on May 1, 2018.
I was excited to try out the once daily Las Vegas to New York (JFK) Delta flight on the 757-200ER featuring Delta One in the premium cabin. Seats onboard are a 2×2 configuration, which means the window seats do not have direct aisle access, which can make it hard to get up if the person in the aisle is pulling reclined and sleeping.
Transcontinental flights come with the same swag that international Delta One flights offer including a Westin Heavenly pillow and blanket, noise canceling headphones and a Tumi amenity kit.

Warm nuts and a gin and tonic to begin
For the main entree for lunch, I opted for the chicken sandwich, which came with a side salad and a side of guacamole.
For dessert, options included a fruit and cheese plate or an ice cream sundae.
Transcontinental flights are served chocolate chip cookies prior to landing.
Overall, I was very pleased with the flight with the Delta One cabin and service. Currently of the five daily flights from Las Vegas to New York (JFK), only one of them is on the 757-200ER with Delta One. The rest are just standard domestic first class seats and service. JetBlue flies a few A321 aircrafts with Mint on this route, which is likely why Delta has upgraded one of their flights to Delta One to remain competitive.
