The Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill is one of the two full service Hyatt properties in London, with the other being the Andaz London Liverpool Street. The Churchill  is located in London’s West, close to Hyde Park and is a great location if you’re looking to explore London.

The Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill has 440 guest rooms and suites and is a World of Hyatt Category 6 property, meaning free night awards start at 25,000 points per night, whereas Points + Cash is offered at 12,500 points + £115 per night.

As a Globalist, I was invited to check-in on the hotel’s 8th floor, where the Regency Club is located. I was upgraded to a Garden View room and informed the benefits of the lounge and offerings.

Overall I was very pleased with the Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill due to its location in Marylebone near Hyde Park.

As a Globalist, having access to the Regency Club lounge added a lot to the stay, not only with the food and beverage offerings but the great service from all the attendants in the lounge. Breakfast includes several hot dishes in addition to the cold cuts, and pastries. In the evening, appetizers included fruit, cheese, veggies, breads, and complimentary self-serve drinks as well.

If you’re trying to decide this hotel or the Andaz London Liverpool Street, I couldn’t recommend the Churchill more due to the location regardless if you’re coming to London for some sightseeing or just a relaxing weekend.

Consider the World of Hyatt Visa card offer.

  1. I too have stayed here and actually returning next month. Surprised you didn’t mention anything about the rest of the hotel, the Churchill bar is unique and a fantastic bar to relax and have a drink or even light dinner plus they have a cozy patio dining with heaters.

There is a lobby bar/restaurant excellent service and equally good food. Far better than many Hyatt’s around the world.

Then there is the Italian restaurant.

Those to me are the high points of this property but then it sounded like you only used the club lounge.

  2. I stay there whenever I’m in London. Great location. Convenient to the Underground. And great service. Add in the Globalist suite upgrades and you can’t beat it!

  3. We are traveling as a family of 4 (2 kids under 7) and I was wondering if the park balcony suite would accommodate all of us?

  4. This is a great property. We’ve stayed twice. Suite upgrades both times. Friendly staff, easy walking distance to 2 Tube stations(“mind the gap”). The outside bar is fabulous. Highly recommend.
