The Escape Lounge, Manchester International (MAN) Terminal 3 and is open daily from 4:15am to 5pm. This is a partner lounge for several airlines, however those who wish to pay for access can at a price of £21.

Additionally, it’s a Priority Pass lounge, meaning cardholders of the The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express receive complimentary access, which is how I was able to use this lounge on my recent flight from Manchester.

Upon arrival, I was asked if I had pre-booked a reservation for the lounge. As I was using my Priority Pass card to enter, I was placed on a waiting a list and was told I would be called when they had availability. About an hour later after not having received a call we went back and were eventually let in.

Note: The lounge was about 70% full and had plenty of empty seats, however they claimed they had reservations coming in later in the afternoon. It’s an interesting concept to have people rebook, when you’re turning away guests who wish to use the lounge, and one that I don’t think is actually that customer friendly.
