  2. In order to get these offers do I need to have my AMEX added as a card on Amazon before the offer comes out?

  4. Patrick you need to have an Amex card that earns Membership Rewards card. Easiest one is the Amex Everyday card (no annual fee). Then it has to be in your payment options at Amazon. Typically you have to type “0.01” regarding how many points you want to use and then you *should* see the discount IF you are targeted. The links in these blog posts always work for me and I seem to be targeted about 80% of the time. I get 20% off everything I buy at my local Safeway this way. 🙂
