W Atlanta Downtown Lobby Lounge Review

As I mentioned this week the W Atlanta Downtown has a lot going for it. From helicopter landings on their helipad, Delta / Avion happy hours, great bars and restaurants. In this post I’ll share pictures from their lobby lounge that I checked out this week. The hotel is giving away two free nights in a charity fundraiser with Passports with Purpose through Points, Miles & Martinis. The lobby lounge is a great place for afternoon business discussion or evening martini.

Lobby Lounge

After walking through the front entrance doors the lobby lounge is to the right. There is plenty of seating and a large bar to the left. Above the seating area is cool metal art. We had the french press coffee. Adrian, the resident mixologist, shared a few of their signature libations. More on the cocktails and bar in a later post. Here are a few pictures from the lobby lounge.

Bottom Line

This is a great place to have an afternoon coffee or business meeting. The french press coffee is top notch.

If you have a moment, check out the great prizes at Passports with Purpose for their charity fundraiser. You can win one for as little as $10.

  1. I really like how you’re blogging more often now. I love your posts! Please keep up the great work!

  2. @Jenny – Thanks for the feedback on the posts. Your comments are motivating.

As you probably know I travel every week and my posting frequency was way down earlier this year due to a number of reasons. But I’ve been able to develop a posting strategy that works with my schedule as a result of going to the Blog World event in November.

Please don’t ever hesitate to share additional feedback as well.

  3. Thanks Marshall. Glad you were able to get the elusive reservation at this place during the week.

Its a nice hotel for sure. I’m going back for a drink at the Drink Shop and will report back on the martini selection.
