  1. I’m a fan of Rum & Coca-Cola made with Sailor Jerry rum. I swear, the rum actually makes the Coke taste better.

  2. My favorite dark rum drink is the Dark and Stormy. Pour 2oz dark rum over ice, add 8oz ginger beer, juice of 1/4th of a lime and stir. Delicious!!

  3. This one’s my recipe:

    Drunken Hummingbird

    1 oz Dark Rum
1 oz Rum Cream (can use Baileys for similar drink if unavailable)
    1 oz Kahlua
    .5 ounce Strawberry Syrup/flavoring
    Half of a Banana
    1 oz cream
    1 cup crushed ice

    Blend and Enjoy!

I’ve also made it where the 1 oz cream and 1 cup crushed ice is subbed with ice cream. Also delicious, but heavier.

  4. A dark n stormy – so yummy

    Prep:
2 oz dark rum 3 oz ginger beer and a lime wedge for garnish if desired

    1. Build the ingredients in a highball glass filled with ice cubes. 2. Garnish with the lime wedge.

For a tropical mix, try mango ginger beer! It’s paradise in a cup!

  5. Simple: a shot of Flor de Caña 19 años. Stock up at the grocery next time you’re in Nicaragua. 🙂

  6. Best Dark Rum:

  7. I like to make a drink called “Another”.

    Ingredients are…

    -Dark Rum
    -Amaretto
    -Cranberry Juice
    -Pineapple Juice

The trick is to pour amaretto/dark rum first. Followed by Pineapple. Lastly cranberry. Just throw a splash of cranberry on the top and it becomes a multi-layered drink with the red and yellow mixing quite well. Looks great, tastes great. You will want “Another”

  8. El Dorado 15 over ice. No matter how many you consume, you can’t screw up the recipe.

  9. Dark and Stormy.

    Ice
1/4 lime, cut into two thick slices
2 ounces Gosling’s Black Seal Bermuda black rum
    4 ounces Barritt’s Ginger Beer

Fill a highball glass with ice. Squeeze one lime over the ice. Add the rum. Add the ginger beer. Place a slice of lime on the rim of the glass.

    Done.

  10. Planter’s Punch – so good make it by the pitcher:

    1 fifth dark rum
1 6-ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 6-ounce can frozen pink lemonade concentrate
    3 tablespoons lemon juice
    3 tablespoons grenadine

    Ice

In a large container, combine all of the ingredients and stir to dissolve the concentrates. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve over ice in tall glasses. Garnish with an orange wedge

Combine in a shaker (this makes 2 drinks):

P.S. I don’t need the dinner, just thought I’d share

  19. Oh and Jamaica has a rum drink called a “dirty banana”
They use bananas that have started to turn brown, I don’t know the exact recipe but they are very tasty.
    Maybe someone here knows it?

  20. I’m a fan of my own creation:
In a tall glass with ice add 1 shot of Myers’s and then fill with Cactus Cooler soda. Maybe not as good and fancy as others out there but very simple and it tastes good.

  21. Cruciatus recipe
1/2 oz Aftershock® Hot & Cool cinnamon schnapps
