Last fall Delta began a partnership with Luvo, which is a California-based company formerly known as Lyfe Kitchen to offer healthy meals on select Delta flights including shuttle flights between LAX and SFO and transcon flights.
They must of been popular, because Delta announced that they would be expanding these meals on to other routes as well. The new routes that will offer these new first class meals will be available to/from MSP-LAX/SFO/SEA and DTW-LAX/SFO/SEA.
Here is where you can find Luvo meals when flying Delta:
Shuttle: Traveling between LA and San Francisco? Take advantage of Delta’s hourly shuttle and you’ll get treated to fresh and tasty snacks from Luvo. Delta is offering one morning and one afternoon snack from a rotating menu on each of its 14 daily flights
Transcontinental: Delta is now offering fresh wraps and snacks on their transcontinental flights to and from JFK, LAX, SFO and SEA.
First Class: Now you can enjoy complimentary hot Luvo entrées on flights from MSP or DTW to LAX, SFO, or SEA. And this is just the beginning. With plans to expand the program, you should be seeing Luvo on more routes soon. Be sure to check our blog for the latest updates.
When it comes to the first class flights here are the new meal choices:
Breakfast Selections
Steel Cut Oatmeal with Quinoa and Mixed Fruits: This delicious twist on a classic turns up the flavor with sweet juicy peaches, apples, pineapples, cinnamon and coconut almond topping.
