Is Delta Announcing New Premium Economy, Comfort + Tomorrow?

According to many rumors, there is suppose to be an announcement tomorrow and the most feasible thing I can think of is the announcement of Delta’s new premium economy product called Comfort + which replaces Economy Comfort.

When it comes to Comfort +, one of the benefits will be complimentary alcohol, and most likely this will still be available for Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Medallions for free.

While a few days ago, Delta discontinued their Have One On Us Coupons, which were given out to these Medallions who weren’t upgraded when they printed their boarding passes.

Bottom Line

It would make sense that the main reason these are discontinued is because Comfort + will be announced tomorrow and Medallions will no longer need these coupons.

It will be interesting to see if this is true, and we will have to wait till tomorrow to find out!

Anyone else see the reasoning behind this well?

  1. DL Comfort+ to be the new medallion UPGR! US domestic roll out of transcon prem econ, to mek the PM & DM not feel so bad about loss of free upgrades, as they’re sold as disc first confirmed, or delta APP.

  2. I read the story on delta’s website and Comfort Plus will be similar to Economy Comfort but with more benefits, especially for domestic and short int’l flights. The seats will still offer 4″ more pitch and 50% more recline, but all comfort plus passengers will get reserved overhead space and a newly quilted seat design. The free booze will be extended to all flights, the free premium snacks offered on transcon flights will be offered on all domestic and int’l flights of at least 900 miles, and the sleep kit from the transcon flights will be extended to all long haul flights. The premium entertainment will still be free, plus domestic flights might get free wifi as well.
