Earlier today, we wrote about Delta’s New SkyMiles Announcement, but one point I want to highlight is that they are now offering domestic awards starting at just 10,000 SkyMiles each-way.
Per Delta, new One-Way Award tickets beginning as low as 10,000 miles plus taxes and fees, available through Dec. 31, 2015 for travel in select U.S., Mexican and Caribbean markets. Customers can now fly to several popular Award destinations with a 21-day minimum advance purchase.
At first I was skeptical that there would be any availability so decided to search a few routes, and had some success in what I was able to find. Here is what I was able to find:
Las Vegas, NV (LAS) to Los Angeles, CA (LAX) for 10,000 SkyMiles
New York-La Guardia, NY (LGA) to Rochester, NY (ROC) for 10,000 SkyMiles
Atlanta, GA (ATL) to Huntsville, AL (HSV) for 10,000 SkyMiles
Boston, MA to New York-La Guardia, NY (LGA) for 10,000 SkyMiles
Looking for some easy way to earn 10,000 SkyMiles? While, if Delta delays your baggage 4 times, you’ll be able to get a free one-way ticket, since you now Earn 2,500 SkyMiles When Flying Delta if your bags take longer than 20 minutes to arrive at baggage claim.
Looking for More Delta Miles?
If you are looking for more ways to earn Delta miles, consider the Delta Reserve Credit Card from American Express, The Platinum Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express, Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express.
Bottom Line
I’m greatly encouraged by these 10,000 mileage awards that Delta just announced!
anything from PDX or SEA? thank you!
