Starwood is offering their members an easy way to earn up to 10,000 bonus points for select stays at their Tribute hotels through July 15, 2015. All you have to do is stay at one of their new Tribute properties by July 15, 2015 to earn 2,000 per eligible stay up to 10,000 points.

I registered already and it only took a few moments. I’m one to register for promotions even if I don’t think I”ll have qualifying activity, but I never know when unexpected travel will put in a position to have qualifying activity. And I don’t want to miss the registration period.

In this case, the first Tribute Property is the Royal Palm South Beach hotel. I don’t actually have any plans of staying at the Royal Palm now, but you never know.

REGISTRATION: SPG^® members must register online at tributeportfolio by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on July 15, 2015. Registered members can earn bonus Starpoints^® for every eligible stay between April 16, 2015, and July 15, 2015 (the “Promotion Period”) at participating Tribute Portfolio hotels and resorts. All participating hotels and resorts can be found at tributeportfolio and is subject to change.

EARNING: Registered members will earn 2,000 Starpoints on eligible stays of one or more consecutive nights. A maximum of 10,000 bonus Starpoints can be earned during the Promotion Period for this offer. Offer is eligible with other Starpoints promotions; however, each offer will award bonus Starpoints independently of each other, and offers are not combinable.

BONUSING: Bonus Starpoints will post to the registered member’s account within two to four weeks after the qualifying stay posts.

ELIGIBLE STAYS: An Eligible Stay is defined as one or more consecutive nights paying an Eligible Rate in the same hotel regardless of the number of check-ins or checkouts that occur and post to the member’s Starwood Preferred Guest^® account. An Eligible Rate is any rate that is eligible to earn Starpoints in the Starwood Preferred Guest program. Bottom Line

I’m excited about the new Starwood Tribute brand and the chance to earn status by staying at Starwood’s 10th brand. I actually find the locations somewhat attractive, especially the Asheville and Savannah properties.

And of course this is just another brand you can use your Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express or Starwood Preferred Guest® Business Credit Card from American Express cards to earn more SPG points.
