Now through September 7, 2015, you can earn $10 American Express statement credits when you use Amex Express Checkout to pay for a purchase at participating online merchants. Amex Express Checkout is a new service that allows you pay for online purchases by logging-in with your existing American Express account credentials. I personally have done this already once and am planning on looking into some of the other merchants to see what I can use this on.

The first time you use it, they will ask you to verify your account with an access code that they will email you. Other then that, it was extremely easy!

You’ll receive your $10 statement credit within 90 days of September 7, 2015.  The deal is only valid one time per online merchant, per Amex account.

There doesn’t appear to be a minimum spend required to trigger the $10 statement credit.

I did this for the first time at newegg and purchased a $10 gift card, which will be free once the statement credit hits. I received a notice from American Express thanking me for using Amex Express Checkout but, no credit yet (of course the terms say 90 days but, I was hoping it would be faster.)

Bottom Line

This was super easy because Amex Express Checkout links to your existing Amex account so, you don’t have to enter in any new info or set anything up. If you have an Amex account, you can use Amex Express Checkout and through September 7, 2015, you can earn a $10 statement credit at these participating online retailers. American Express definitely gives you plenty of discounts for being a cardholder. This is just another great deal for free $10 credits in addition to all the Amex Offers for You that are out there!
