The Delta Platinum SkyMiles Credit Card from American Express is great card for Delta fliers, especially Medallion members looking to boost their Medallion Qualifying Miles that they can earn. Expired.

Bottom Line

With this card, you’ll earn 5,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) plus 35,000 bonus miles and a $100 statement credit. You also get priority zone 1 boarding, $29 per person discounted SkyClub lounge access for the cardmember and up to 2 guests and free checked bag with Delta as the primary cardholder and for up to 8 companions on the same reservation.

If you’re looking to earn MQM’s, you’ll earn 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) and 10,000 bonus miles after you spend $25,000 on purchases on your card in a calendar year. Earn an additional 10,000 MQMs and an additional 10,000 bonus miles after you spend $50,000 on eligible purchases on your card in a calendar year.

Of course, you will also get American Express benefits such as their great purchase protection, a complimentary Shoprunner membership and access to all the great Offers for You that Amex has been offering lately.

  1. Upgraded from gld to plat. Called to make sure my offer was what I thought, turns out it was MUCH better. 60,000 miles and 15,000 MQM’s after spending 1,000!!!
