You can change the 3% category once per year between December 1 and January 31. There is also no annual membership fee which makes the cash back percentages on this card pretty generous.

Remember you don’t have to be an incorporated business to open up a business card. If you are a sole proprietor just enter your Social Security number in the TAX ID field.

Be sure to pick the category that you spend the most on to maximize this.

If you don’t have this card, I definitely think that it is a good one to consider. The SimplyCash® Business Card from American Express is a great card if you’re looking for a business card. What makes this card is how you can leverage it for everyday spending. If you’re a new SimplyCash® Business Card from American Express member you’ll be able to select your 3% category upon approval of the card and can change it again between December 1 and January 31 if you want to. This offer is expired.
