Erin Andrews Awarded 55 Million From Marriott Operator And Nude Video Stalker

It is unthinkable to those who stay in hotels that this could have happened. But Michael Barrett found a way to identify what room Erin Andrews was staying in at a Nashville Marriott through their phone directory and an employee. He then reserved the room next to her and by tampering with the peephole, he video taped her in the nude and posted the 5 minute video online.

Erin Andrews took him and the operator of the Nashville Marriott, Windsor Capital, to court. She was asking $75 Million for damages. She instead was awarded $55 Milion instead.
The Nashville Marriott operator was found 49% at fault and ordered to pay $26 Million while Michael Barrett was ordered to pay $28 Million. 

Erin released a statement on Twitter after the verdict:
