Merriman’s on Maui is located on the point over looking Kapalua Bay. We visited the beach there during the day then dined early (happy hour daily from 3pm-5pm) at Merriman’s for dinner. Here is my review of the restaurant where we ate dinner.

We started outside on the patio with some drinks and truffle fries, which were delicious! There is an amazing view of Kapalua Bay. We watched paddle boarders and snorkelers from the deck.

Happy Hour menu includes many delicious looking appetizer selections as well as $9 amazing Mai Tais! You also save 25% off wine glasses during this time so, that is a nice reason to go early!

Beautiful and relaxing views from the front deck. Many people were there during happy hour enjoying the views and the drinks! There were young and old, I saw several children enjoying time with their parents while we were there. 

After happy hour, we moved to a great table on the porch overlooking the beach. There was even a wedding going on just below us.

The inside bar at Merriman’s where you can also enjoy happy hour. There was live music while we were there as well.

Food

Split Caesar with fried green tomato croutons and a glass of Rose.

Mahi Mahi and Beef Tenderloin dinner entrees, both were excellent.

Bottom Line

Overall, we had a great experience here for happy hour and dinner. The views are gorgeous and the food and service was also great. If you are staying in Kapalua, Maui I would definitely recommend checking out  Merriman’s restaurant.
