This year has been good. First, I was offered a 1,000 point bonus per segment from Delta. Then we were offered three 100,000 bonus offers for the American Express Business Platinum card. Now, Alaska Airlines is offering me a 10% off discount code just for having a birthday.
The discount code is good for 10% off my next flight that is booked before January 6th, and flown before March 1, 2013.

Bottom Line
I can’t say I’m happy I’m a year older, but I can say I’m happy for the 10% off discount code. If you aren’t receiving offers from Alaska Airlines, try updating your email preferences here and make sure you have a “birthday” noted in the information in your account.
It pays to sign up for frequent flyer programs, even if you don’t fly or stay with the program frequently.
