Hyatt hotels rolled out their KenetMD bath products into Hyatt Regency hotels last year to much fanfare. These products replaced the old Portico products. Alex even caught the switch over the day it happened at his regular Hyatt hotel, and I’m sure he was happy because he has a surplus of bath products of which none were the old Portico product found at Hyatt hotels.
The KenetMD product is an improvement over the old product in my opinion, but I’m not yet convinced it is better than one of Hyatt’s other bath products found at the Grand Hyatt hotels.
Some Grand Hyatt hotels offer June Jacobs Spa products and I hadn’t noticed them at a Grand Hyatt I frequent until a recent stay. The Green Tea and Cucumber is a more mild scent than the white ginger or eucalyptus Portico products.
I give the edge to KenetMD for the better soap bar. Of course the Le Labo products found at Park Hyatt hotels top both of these in my opinion.
What about you? What’s your favorite Hyatt hotel bath product? Does it even make a difference for you when selecting a hotel?

Although I agree that the Kenet product is a step above Portico, I still prefer the June Jacobs myself. I think they have a much lighter scent – just wish they would include the citrus line as well.
My votes go for Molton Brown (Hyatt Churchill London) and Aromatherapy Associates (Park Hyatt Shanghai)… head and shoulders above all else.
I don’t like the June Jacobs bath gel. If I inhale I feel it scratching my throat.
Park Hyatts use several different bath products, such as Blaise Mautin and Aesop in addition to the Bergamot 22 (Le Labo).
How difficult is it to convince hotels to provide unscented products? I’m extremely scent-sensitive, and it owuld make my stays much more pleasant. I’ve tried requesting it, even in advance, but generally get met with a blank stare or the equivalent, so I usually bring along my own toiletries.
@Cate, Try the Hyatt Prue rooms they are Hypo-allergenic and have Hypo-allergenic products.
@Stacy, thanks! I’ll keep that in mind.
