Take a look at what people are saying about the new Delta Business Elite menu in this post. A few weeks ago we shared how Delta had launched new BusinessElite dining options from Atlanta as part of their new Linton Hopkins Menu. The news brought out the skeptics, but now there first hand reader reports from readers like you.
Reader Feedback On New Meals
Josh Shared his experience with the new meal on the Atlanta to London route:
I’ve flown ATL-LHR three times this month in BE — the meals are very impressive indeed. And actually it’s the cheese plate that is especially good, way more character than I’ve had on any in-flight service before.
The current wine menu also has a 2000 Rioja that is (deservedly) a big hit and they’ve run out of it on a couple of my flights!
Lee shared an experience with the new meal on the Atlanta to Amsterdam route:
I flew ATL to AMS last night with the new menu. I thought the food was really good, slightly better than the normal business elite menu. The shrimp starter was great, I was so so on the soup, but don’t generally like onion soups. The meat appetizer was amazing, but confess to missing a full salad which is not part of the menu. I has the beef and thought it was good, I don’t normally like grits, but these were seasoned to the point they passed for mashed potatoes. The bread was a step up from normal delta bread, and I loved the desert. The Chicken Pot pie looked good from a distance and covered the whole dinner plate. The grouper looked excellent and I think I would choose it next time over the beef. On the whole, I thought it was pretty good and liked the change.
Bottom Line
It’s certain that the new Linton Hopkins BusinessElite Menu is an innovation in meal service for the US airlines. The few readers and friends I’ve heard from who’ve tried the menu really do like the new dining options.
I’m looking forward to trying this out myself in the near future. Have you tried out the new Delta Business Elite menu from Atlanta yet? What was your impression?
