The past few weeks most hotels have announced their summer promotions that they will be offering, so here’s a rundown of what each one.

Starwood

Starwood Preferred Guest announced their new summer promotion which run at more than 1,000 participating Starwood hotels and resorts May 1 through July 31, 2014.

It’s called SPG Earn Away and SPG members will earn double Starpoints on all eligible stays or stretch any stay to include a Sunday (Saturday at hotels in the Middle East) and earn triple Starpoints.

Registration is now open and you must register by by June 30, 2014 to partake.

Hyatt

Hyatt is offering triple airline miles all summer. You’ll start racking up the Miles after your 2nd eligible stay at Hyatt from May 1 through August 31.

You must register for the airline of your choice and the options include Air France/KLM, American, ANA, British Airways, JAL, Jet Airways, Lufthansa Miles & More, or United MileagePlus.

Marriott

Marriott has launched their summer promotion, which is valid for stays from June 1 and August 31, 2014.

There are apparently four different targeted the offers with the primary offer being double points, up to 25,000 bonus points.

• Register by July 31, 2014
• Stay between June 1 and August 31, 2014
• Earn double points after your second paid stay*, up to 25,000 bonus points

Sign into your Marriott Rewards Promotion Central for your 2014 Mid-Year “Getaway Bonus”. Other promotions people have reported are a 20,000- 30,000 point bonus after a given amount of stays.

Hilton

Hilton is offering your choice of double miles or points. This offer is valid for eligible stays completed between May 1 and July 31, 2014.

• Book and complete an eligible Hilton stay between May 1st and July 31, 2014

Bottom Line

There are many summer promotions, so even if you don’t think you’ll be staying at a particular brand, you might as well register since it only takes a few seconds and you never know where you might find yourself this summer.
