Amazon Prime Now: $7.99 One Hour and Free 2 Hour Delivery ExpandsIt works like this: Amazon Prime users have to download the Prime Now mobile app, available in the iOS, Android and Amazon app stores.  Non-Prime members can download the app and browse available items, but to order a product you need to have a Amazon Prime membership which currently costs $99 a year. The Prime Now app has about 25,000 products, which is just a fraction of the over 20 million products available on the main Amazon site.Amazon Prime Now: $7.99 One Hour and Free 2 Hour Delivery ExpandsThe app is currently organized into easy-to-browse sections including healthy living, spring cleaning, pet central, gift ideas and everyday essentials. There is a $15 minimum order, and once the order is accepted, the clock starts ticking, and  you or someone you know must be there to accept the order. Here is a quick video explaining how it works.

Bottom Line:
We love all things Amazon and this seems like another winner. Amazon has big plans to expand Prime Now to other major metropolitan markets throughout 2015, and I hope they do.  And I am already planning the possibilities – ordering gifts at the last minute; skipping the mini-bar by ordering drinks and snacks to a hotel if I am traveling; families with children could have diapers, baby wipes, baby food, and snacks delivered in, and I would imagine if I would get sick in a city with Prime Now it would be easy to order cold medication, Kleenex and Gatorade.  Anybody have any other ideas of how to best utilize Prime Now?
