I picked this card up in August w/ the 60K bonus. I have an 8 night stay @ the Hilton, Aruba over President’s week, 2016 using Club Carlson points. I wanted a way to get free breakfast for two, so having a Hilton gold option fit the bill. I accomplished the $20K spend in grocery store VGC purchases. The gas points I earned easily made those buys a money maker. As of my 2nd bill cycle, I have over 160K points. This cards a keeper for me due to no AF & Amex offers.
@DavidNJ – Hilton Aruba is not honoring status on stays booked with Radisson points.
@AA …. I’ve read a couple accounts of Diamond getting club lounge & Gold getting continental breakfast on Club Carlson point bookings. I don’t take “NO” lightly, so we’ll see.
