Currently inflight from LAX-JFK on Delta, and got upgraded to Delta One thanks to one of my regional upgrade certificates.
Anyways, rather than a full flight review, I thought I would highlight their Delta One Winter Menu onboard their transcontinental flights between LAX/SFO-JFK.
Just to note, Delta will be moving to their Spring 2016 menu soon, but here’s a look what was served this winter:
Winter 2016 Menu
Winter 2016Â Starters
Winter 2016Â Main Courses
Antipasto Miso
Seasoned Chicken
Dark Chocolate Gelato
Bottom Line
Overall I was quite pleased with this meal service and this menu, however I’m sure their Spring menu will be just as good.
It’s nice that Delta rotates their menus onboard each quarter, especially if you’re a frequent business class flyer š
I love the food served in transcon D1. I burned a few RUCs too JFK/LAX and the dinner never disappoints. The appetizers along easily fill me up.
Good choice avoiding the lamb. It was horrid last time I tried it.
I’ve never really been impressed with trancon D1 food. I honestly prefer domestic first catering, as it is usually simpler (and simple is better on flights that aren’t long-haul). The transcon menus often try to get too cute in my opinion.
