Priority Pass sends out a monthly email announcing their new lounges. It’s nice to see Priority Pass expanding the lounges in their program, which means more lounges for Amex Platinum cardholders like myself to benefit from.

You can gain access to Priority Pass Select for free by being a cardholder of The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express. Remember that you need to ask Amex to register you for Priority Pass after you receive your card. This is just another great benefit of Amex Plat card.

Will any of the new lounges listed above help with your travel?

  1. It says that guest can enter for 27 dollars. Does this mean my husband can’t accompany me unless he pays?

  2. @sama – Exactly, holder of Priority Pass gets in for free. Can take a guest with him/her for $27 (or EUR24).
Don’t know about the US version of Amex Platinum, but in Germany, it is possible to order a 2nd Platinum card for spouse, family member, friend, … which is included in main card holder’s annual fee. So second person gets Amex Platinum “for free” and, thus, also Priority Pass.
    That’s how I and my +1 did.

  3. When I spoke with them yesterday, they said it would be no problem to bring a guest….Also , my friend was able to take someone in Kuala Lumpur….. Am I missing something?
