United Airlines is running an award sale for flights to/from Hawaii for travel between April 8, 2018 through May 20, 2018. MileagePlus members can book discounted awards for 36,0000 MileagePlus miles roundtrip in Economy from the U.S. but you must book by tonight, March 14, 2018.
As an example with this sale, flights from Los Angeles to Honolulu are pricing at 18,000 Mileage Plus miles each-way for a total of 36,000 miles. Normally these flights at the lowest level would run 45,000 miles, so this is a savings of 9,000 Mileage Plus miles.
