Delta Cuts More CVG Flights

Woke up this morning to a new Cincinnati Enquirer’s article discussing further cuts at CVG. As stated two weeks ago, Delta is making significant cuts to Cincinnati flights. Today’s article announced an additional 17 percent reduction in Delta flights at CVG with the elimination of flights to Dayton, Birmingham, Ala., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Houston, and Amsterdam. Delta states the reason for the cuts are the worsening economy, higher fuel costs, and the lingering impact from the global H1N1 flu pandemic. The effects take place September 1.
