Drink Certs

There was high demand for the Delta drink certs, I got many requests and some interesting itineraries. Ultimately they went to a lucky reader from Illinois who responded first.

I still have the Continental Drink Certs if anyone can use them, just send me an email theweeklyflyer (at) gmail on how you can use them by the end of the year.

Continental Miles

I’m well on my way to earning the Continental Miles from the Chase promotion. As you’ll recall the Business Account stated that it required the $60 debit card, which I declined. I will get an automatic 10k miles for signing up for the Business, but am waiting to find out if I get the additional 15k for using the basic Business debit. I’ve completed my 5 transactions on the business card quick. 1) Bottle Water in Airport, 2) Starbucks coffee Monday morning, 3) Grilled Chicken sandwich from Chick-Fil-A, 4) Separate transaction for un-sweet tea at Chick-Fil-A, 5) Dinner on the card. That was the quickest way to use the required 5 transactions.

Tomorrow I’ll use the personal debit card from the personal Chase Checking account I signed up which I’ve confirmed will earn the additional 15k Continental miles. At worst I’ll earn 35k, not bad for a few hours of effort and $25.
