Mrs Weekly Flyer takes a practical approach to selecting her credit cards. I on the other hand, focus on getting it in and keeping it in my wallet. She knows that credit card sign up bonuses play a big part in our ability to take dream vacations to places like the Seychelles, Paris, Mauritius, Bora Bora and Sardinia.

In the past she’s applied for and received the American Airlines Citi card for a 75k bonus, the British Airways Chase card, and the Chase Freedom card for the 5% cash back. For each application there was a specific reason to apply and she knows when to get in on a good deal since they don’t last long. The American Airlines 75k bonus was a high offer at the time. The British Airways 100k bonus was a huge bonus which only lasted a short while, then it returned again last year. This bonus enabled us to getaway for a long weekend to the Buenos Aires Park Hyatt in First Class on American Airlines.

Her next application will earn a bonus that will be used to redeem only 4,500 British Airways points for one-way domestic coach tickets and for only 3,000 British Airways points through May 31, 2012. In addition, we’ll be able to use only 6,000 points from the sign up bonus for suite upgrades at Hyatt hotels.

Mrs Weekly Flyer Gets A Chase Sapphire Preferred

The Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card currently offers 50k bonus points but it is going down to a 40k bonus on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Mrs Weekly Flyer already earns 5% cash back with the Chase Freedom card and has been looking at the Chase Sapphire Preferred for a while. The Chase Ultimate Reward credit card sign up bonus Sky is not falling, but the bonus reduction from 50k to 40k was enough to motivate her to apply for the card.

Chase Sapphire Preferred Benefits – 40k Point Offer

The Chase Sapphire Preferred currently offers a 40k sign up bonus but this will change on April 3, 2012. The new offer will only give a 40k sign up bonus. The New Ink Bold credit card for businesses appears to still offer 40k Ultimate Reward point sign up bonus after next Tuesday. a blue and white background
