We had a quick hop up to the city of brotherly love and stayed at the Hyatt Regency Penn’s Landing. The best part about this trip was not only was it short, but we’d have a great shot at an upgrade on the outbound and return. So a few days before departure we checked the upgrade status and sure enough, our upgrade cleared at the elite level window.

This route is serviced by a number of Delta’s fleet including the 737, MD-90, MD-80 and 757. We caught a flight with Delta’s aging MD-80 aircraft which has 16 first class seats.

On climb out, the flight attendant suggested seat 1B and myself open the window and check out the cool view. See for yourself in the video below.

This was a flawless flight from Delta with plenty of refreshments and “job well done” (JWD) certificates all around.
