We love saving time here at Points, Miles & Martinis. Our travel style is close to the real Ryan Bingham, we never, ever check a bag, pack light, and look for opportunities to streamline our travel experience at every corner. Thankfully the team at Gogo has helped us shave a few moments of down time during our travel experience with their Gogo iPhone application.
Using the Gogo iPhone application will have you quickly connected and surfing the web in no time. There are only a few simple steps the Gogo application takes to get you connected.
Automatically Connect With The Gogo iPhone Application
The application automatically begins to try to connect you to the web when you open the application. Sit back and relax while Gogo does all the work. How awesome is that?
If you forgot to select your network or jumped the gun like I did, you’ll receive a polite message letting you know you didn’t select a network or that your plane isn’t up to 10,000 feet yet.
After a few moments you’ll be rocking and rolling with a Gogo connection. But just one more step before you can start surfing as you climb through the sky to cruising altitude.
Enter a few characters to validate your wifi signal.
Now you’re in and can start surfing the web as you prepare to order your favorite free cocktail in the sky.
Bottom Line
The Gogo iPhone application will save you time by getting you connected faster so you can surf the web and catch up on your favorite [Boarding Boarding] blog(s).

You have to be kidding me. At least mention Gogo paid for this placement on your site. There is no way that anyone who uses this POS app on their iPhone would agree with you. Look at the app reviews in the AppStore – it is hands down, one of the worst applications. But for the sake of your readers, perhaps a bit more transparency between a sponsored post and one that is just your opinion.
Hi Matt – I’m flattered that you think I get paid for this write up, but I did not. I also disclose anytime I receive a referral from any affiliate. You can take your negativity elsewhere if you like, although I can’t stop you from coming back.
I like the app, wrote about it, thats it.
Wow, just checked all 11 reviews in the app store and all of them are bad. The basic argument is that it saves no time. It does save credentials and auto checks for the network to auto sign in, so I think that saves time. But it does still require that stupid character check. I still like it and think it saves a few moments of pulling up browser, having browser try to find log in page and then entering in your information.
